English Braids manufactures Braid-on-Braid Rope in Malvern, Worcestershire, using a high-performance 100% polyester double-braid construction.

The rope features a 12-strand polyester core enclosed within a durable 24-plait polyester cover. English Braids heat-set and pre-stretch both components during production to minimise extension under working loads.

With just 5% extension at 50% of its breaking load, this rope delivers excellent control and dependable performance. The polyester construction also provides outstanding resistance to UV exposure, acids, alkalis, and harsh weather conditions.

The torque-balanced design prevents kinking and ensures smooth handling through blocks, clutches, and winches. The rope also splices easily, making installation and maintenance straightforward.

Braid-on-Braid Rope has a specific gravity of 1.38 and withstands temperatures up to approximately 230°C. Its combination of strength, durability, and handling characteristics makes it suitable for a wide range of marine and industrial applications.
