English Braids manufactures 3-Strand Standard Polyester rope in Malvern, Worcestershire using a traditional 3-strand twisted construction.

The company heat-sets the rope after laying to relieve stresses from twisting and cabling.

This process creates a dimensionally stable rope that resists kinking and hockling.

The rope delivers 16% extension at 50% of its breaking load.

It reaches 25% extension at break, providing effective shock absorption under sudden loads.

The rope has a specific gravity of 1.38.

Polyester fibres offer excellent resistance to UV exposure, acids, and alkalis.

The rope also withstands temperatures up to approximately 230°C.

Its torque-balanced construction allows easy splicing and smooth handling.

The rope runs efficiently through blocks, fairleads, and cleats.

It remains stable under load and resists unwanted rotation.
