Drennan Whip Rigs – 3m, 4m, 5m

The Drennan Whip Rigs are ready-tied coarse fishing rigs designed to make whip fishing quick, simple and effective. Hand-tied to complement the Drennan Vertex Whip range, these rigs are supplied ready to use and are available in 3m, 4m and 5m lengths. They are ideal for targeting large numbers of small to medium-sized coarse fish and provide a convenient option for beginners as well as experienced match and pleasure anglers who want to get fishing without having to tie their own rigs.

Each rig is constructed using 4lb (0.15mm) mainline connected to a 3lb (0.13mm) hooklength and finished with a size 16 Drennan Silverfish Pellet barbless hook. This balanced setup is suitable for popular baits including maggots, casters, pellets and sweetcorn. An olivette and dropper shotting pattern helps the rig cast smoothly, reduces the risk of tangles and gets the hookbait down quickly to feeding fish. The three lengths also feature appropriately sized floats, with 0.5g on the 3m, 0.8g on the 4m and 1.0g on the 5m version.
