The Drennan In-Line Olivettes are precision-made, streamlined weights designed to create neat and effective shotting patterns for pole, coarse and match fishing rigs. Unlike conventional split shot, the fishing line passes directly through the centre of the Olivette, meaning the weight cannot accidentally come away from the mainline. This secure in-line arrangement makes them particularly useful when fishing snaggy swims or targeting larger, harder-fighting fish.

Finished in a discreet non-flash camo bronze, Drennan In-Line Olivettes provide a much less obtrusive appearance underwater than traditional shiny or black weights. Which Drennan In-Line Olivette Do I Need?

The correct weight will depend primarily on the carrying capacity of your float and the shotting pattern you want to create. Smaller Olivettes are ideal for lighter and more sensitive presentations, while progressively heavier weights allow rigs to be set up for larger floats, deeper water and situations where the bait needs to reach the required depth quickly.

For accurate float balancing, an Olivette can form the main bulk of the rig’s weight, with smaller shot or droppers used to fine-tune the presentation where required.
