Drennan Hybrid Olivettes

The Drennan Hybrid Olivettes combine the best features of traditional Lock & Slide and In-Line Olivettes to create a secure, adjustable and highly versatile weighting system for pole, coarse and match fishing rigs. The line can be threaded through the Olivette so the weight cannot come away from the rig, while silicone tubing at either end holds it securely in position. This eliminates the need for additional locking shot while still allowing the Olivette to be repositioned easily when fine-tuning your presentation.

For even greater versatility, the line can alternatively be passed around the outside of the Olivette, allowing different weights to be changed quickly without completely rebuilding the rig. Each streamlined weight features a discreet non-flash camo bronze finish and has its weight clearly engraved on the side for easy identification. Available in a comprehensive selection from 0.5g to 4g, Drennan Hybrid Olivettes are ideal for creating neat bulk shotting patterns and accurately balancing a wide variety of pole and float fishing rigs.

Why Choose Hybrid Olivettes?

The Hybrid design provides an excellent balance between security and adjustability. When the line is threaded through the Olivette, the weight remains securely attached to the rig while the silicone tubing holds it in the required position. Unlike a conventional In-Line Olivette, however, the Hybrid can also be set up with the line passing around the outside, allowing anglers to change to a different weight quickly when conditions or float requirements change.
