Description

Drennan Dacron Connectors

The Drennan Dacron Connectors are lightweight pole elastic connectors designed to provide a neat, reliable connection between your pole elastic and rig. A popular alternative to traditional plastic elastic connectors, they use a coated braided material that is kind to both the mainline and elastic. The Dacron is deliberately stiff enough to help push the mainline away from the pole tip, significantly reducing the risk of wrap-over tangles and helping rigs perform smoothly when fishing at speed.

Designed in conjunction with five-time World Champion Alan Scotthorne, Drennan Dacron Connectors are suitable for both solid and hollow pole elastics. Each connector is supplied mounted on a small tube that creates a pre-formed loop, making installation onto the elastic quick and straightforward. The soft, highly visible bead features a large internal bore to help conceal the elastic knot, creating a tidy finished setup. Available in Aqua, Green, Yellow, Pink and Red, the connectors are colour-coded to correspond with Drennan’s Bungee elastic range and cover elastic ratings from 4–6 through to 18–20.
